The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche, has commended the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Dr. Sam Ode, for donating ₦1 million during a recent visit to the Igumale Cement Factory.

In a statement, Oche described the donation as a demonstration of the deputy governor's commitment to supporting local communities and encouraging initiatives capable of driving economic growth in Ado Local Government Area.

According to the council chairman, the financial contribution reflects Dr. Ode's compassionate leadership and his willingness to identify with projects that have the potential to improve livelihoods across the state.

He further noted that the deputy governor's visit and support could boost public confidence in ongoing efforts to revive the long-dormant Igumale Cement Factory, a project widely regarded as having the potential to create employment opportunities and stimulate economic activities within the area.

Oche expressed appreciation to the deputy governor on behalf of the people of Ado Local Government, praying for God's guidance and strength as he continues to serve the state.

The chairman also reaffirmed his administration's commitment to working with the Benue State Government and other stakeholders toward the successful revival of the Igumale Cement Factory and other development initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of residents.

The Igumale Cement Factory has remained largely inactive for years despite repeated discussions about its revival.
