A NEW WAY TO FIND LOCAL BUSINESSES

Beyond reporting what is happening in markets, Benue Info-pedia is also developing ZENVIR Directory, a local business discovery platform designed to help people find and connect with businesses and service providers in Benue and beyond.

The idea is simple: businesses should be easier to find, while customers should have access to clearer information before making purchasing decisions.

Businesses seeking a ZENVIR listing will be required to provide accurate basic information, including the business name, category, phone number, location, description, operating details and relevant business photographs.

Where applicable, businesses will also be asked to provide their CAC registration number or other relevant registration information.

A business will not automatically receive a verification badge simply by submitting its details. ZENVIR's proposed verification process will involve checking submitted information and, where necessary, confirming the business's location, contact details and other available evidence.

Businesses that satisfy the verification requirements may receive a “Verified by Benue Info-pedia” badge, while listings may be reviewed periodically to ensure that important information remains current.

The directory is intended to benefit both sides of the local market: businesses gain another avenue for visibility, while residents, customers and visitors get a structured way to discover local businesses and services.

As with the market-price reports, the principle is verification. A directory listing should not be interpreted as a blanket endorsement of a business, its products or services. Verification is intended primarily to confirm the authenticity and accuracy of submitted business information.

Businesses and service providers interested in being listed will be able to submit their information through the ZENVIR registration process as the platform rolls out.
