MAKURDI, BENUE STATE — The Benue State Emergency Management Agency (Benue-SEMA) has announced the temporary closure of its second gate due to ongoing concrete drainage and road construction along Ogiri Oko Road in Makurdi.

According to the agency, the construction corridor runs directly opposite the Central Bank and extends towards the High Level Underpass.

Benue-SEMA said the decision is intended to accommodate the ongoing infrastructure works and has advised staff, visitors, partners and other stakeholders to use the agency's first gate for access.

The agency said the first gate has now been officially reopened.

Benue-SEMA also appealed for the public's understanding and cooperation while the infrastructure project continues.
