Mohammed Abubakar Ndakpada, a resident of Lata Nna community in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, has regained his freedom after spending 40 days in captivity.

Ndakpada was released after his family reportedly paid an additional ₦5.5 million ransom, bringing the total amount paid to the abductors to ₦17.5 million.
