Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has visited Otukpo-Nobi and the people of Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State following the recent attack in the community.
Obi used the visit to condole with families who lost loved ones and express solidarity with residents affected by the tragedy.
During the condolence visit, the presidential candidate acknowledged the pain experienced by the affected families and community, offering words of comfort to those mourning their loved ones.
The visit also drew attention to the continuing security concerns facing communities affected by violence in Benue State.
For residents of Otukpo-Nobi, the visit came at a difficult time as families and the wider community continue to mourn those killed in the recent attack.
